How to Measure Your Watch Strap Dimensions

How to Measure Your Watch Strap Size

To choose the right strap for your watch, you need to determine two key dimensions: the lug width (A) and the lug buckle (B).

How to Find Your Watch Strap Size:

There are two simple methods to find your watch's strap width:

1.     Quick Google Search: Search using the format "[Watch Brand and Model] lug width - lug buckle." This information is often available on the brand's official website.

2.     Direct Measurement: Use a ruler to accurately measure the inside width between your watch's lugs (measurement A). For measurement B, you'll measure the width of your current strap's buckle.

Notes on Sizing & Strap Selection:

·       Watch strap widths are typically measured in millimeters (mm) and are whole numbers. The most common sizes range from 18-22mm, but can go down to 8mm or up to 32mm.

·       Our readily available straps come in various sizes: 16mm, 17mm, 18mm, 19mm, 20mm, 21mm, 22mm.

·       If you require a different width, or if your watch strap has a unique structure or shape, we offer custom orders.

Important Note: Our strap sizes usually feature two numbers, for example: 20-16.

·       The first number (20) indicates the watch's lug width (measurement A).

·       The second number (16) indicates the lug buckle width (measurement B).

How to Measure Your Watch Strap Length

To ensure your watch strap fits your wrist perfectly, you have two straightforward methods:

Method 1: Measure From An Existing Strap

If you have a watch strap that fits you perfectly, use it as your guide.

1.     Detach the strap from your watch face.

2.     Measure the length of each strap piece:

o   Long End (C): Measure from the lug end (where it attaches to the watch) to the tip of the strap (excluding the buckle).

o   Short End (D): Measure from the lug end to the point where the buckle is attached (excluding the buckle itself).

Method 2: Measure Your Wrist Circumference

If you don't have an existing strap to measure, you can measure your wrist directly.

1.     Using a measuring tape: Wrap the tape measure around your wrist at the exact spot where you typically wear your watch. Note down the measurement.

2.     Without a measuring tape: Use a piece of string to wrap around your wrist, mark where it overlaps, then lay the string flat and measure it with a ruler.

Important Notes:

·       All measurements should be in millimeters (mm).

·       Example of strap length display: 115/75 (mm) means:

o   The Long End of the strap is 115mm (11.5cm).

o   The Short End of the strap is 75mm (7.5cm).
